Creditplus Bank AG stellt Gewinner der Start & Pulse Startup Challenge 2023 vor

• Die Bank erhielt 80 Bewerbungen aus zwölf europäischen Ländern

• Acht Finalistinnen und Finalisten stellten ihre innovativen Lösungen vor Expertenjury und Publikum vor

• Geldpreise in Höhe von 2.000 bis 5.000 Euro und ein Minimum Viable Product-Projekt mit 25.000 Euro Budget für topplatzierte Startups

Die Creditplus Bank AG freut sich, die Gewinnerteams der Start & Pulse Startup Challenge bekannt zu geben – ein Wettbewerb, der das Engagement der Bank für Innovation nun schon zum vierten Mal in den Mittelpunkt rückt. Die Challenge fand am 3. Mai statt und war von besonderer Bedeutung, denn im Fokus stand die Mission der Bank, die „Green Transformation“ Realität werden zu lassen. Als Spezialist für Konsumentenkredite hat sich die Creditplus das Ziel gesetzt, einen substanziellen Beitrag zur grünen Transformation der deutschen Wirtschaft und des Bankensektors zu leisten. Die Start & Pulse Startup Challenge trägt dabei maßgeblich zur Entdeckung von Startups bei, die die Entwicklung nachhaltiger Lösungen und Ansätze voranbringen können. Möglich war die Bewerbung in den vier Kategorien „Green Banking“, „Green Measuring“, „Green Facilitating“ und „Green Initiative“, um auch disruptive Ansätze berücksichtigen zu können.

Die vom Innovationskatalysator GERMANTECH unterstützte Start & Pulse Challenge erweckte EU-weit Interesse bei Startups. Aus allen eingegangenen Bewerbungen wurden acht Startups zum Pitch Day in Stuttgart eingeladen. Nach acht überzeugenden Präsentationen wählte eine Expertenjury die Top 3 aus. Das heterogene Gremium bestand aus Vertreterinnen und Vertretern der Creditplus sowie externen Branchenführern, darunter Tobias Kugler (Leiter Banking & Fintech bei Google Deutschland), Prof. Dr. Tobias Popovic (Professor für Wirtschaft im Bereich Corporate & Sustainable Finance an der Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart) und Claudio Rathlef (Leiter des Social Impact Lab Stuttgart).

Die Siegerteams erhielten Geldpreise in Höhe von 2.000 bis 5.000 Euro. Darüber hinaus wird das erstplatzierte Startup gemeinsam mit der Creditplus im Rahmen eines Minimum Viable Product-Projekts (MVP-Projekt) mit einem Budget von 25.000 Euro die Entwicklung eines Prototypen vorantreiben. Diese Kollaboration bietet dem Gewinnerteam nicht nur eine herausragende Gelegenheit, mit einem etablierten Partner in Deutschland zusammenzuarbeiten, sondern auch die Perspektive, das Projekt dank des internationalen Netzwerks der Crédit Agricole Group über Deutschland hinaus zu skalieren.

Die Gewinner der Start & Pulse Startup Challenge 2023 sind:

• 1. Platz: allcolibri, vertreten durch Adrien de Malherbe (Co-Founder), welche die Jury mit einer innovativen Lösung beeindruckten, die nachhaltiges Handeln belohnt

• 2. Platz: ImpactNexus, vertreten durch Jannic Horne (CEO & Co-Founder), deren Software für Nachhaltigkeitsanalysen und -reporting die Aufmerksamkeit der Jury auf sich zog

• 3. Platz: guud, vertreten durch Alina Friedrichs (CEO & Co-Founder), deren Benefit-Card für Mitarbeitende Erfolg verspricht, und SUSTAYN (Founder), vertreten durch Janik Seitzer, die einen bleibenden Eindruck mit ihrer Mitarbeiter-App hinterließen – beide Startups erhalten den vollen Geldpreis

Creditplus Bank AG is delighted to announce the winners of the Start & Pulse Startup Challenge 2023, a competition in its 4th year that highlights the bank’s commitment to innovation. This year’s challenge, which took place on May 3, was especially significant, as it focused on the bank’s mission of “Green Transformation''. Creditplus, as a specialist in consumer loans, is committed to rendering a substantial contribution to the Green Transformation of the German economy and the banking sector, and the Start & Pulse Startup challenge played a vital role in finding startups that can help develop sustainable solutions and approaches. The startups could apply for one of four categories: "Green Banking", "Green Measuring", "Green Facilitating", and "Green Initiative", allowing for disruptive solutions to be considered.

The Start & Pulse Challenge attracted startups from all over the EU, with the support of the innovation catalyst GERMANTECH. From all the applications, eight startups were selected to pitch at the award event in Stuttgart. After listening to eight impressive pitches the expert panel selected the Top 3. The panel consisted of a diverse group of experts, including representatives from Creditplus and external industry leaders, namely Tobias Kugler (Industry leader Banking & Fintech at Google Germany), Prof. Dr. Tobias Popovic (Professor of Business Administration Corporate & Sustainable Finance at Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart) and Claudio Rathlef (Head of the Social Impact Lab Stuttgart).

The winning teams were awarded cash prizes of between 2,000 to 5,000 euros. Additionally, the top-placed winner will collaborate with Creditplus on a Minimum Viable Product-project (MVP project), with a budget of 25,000 euros to develop their prototype. This collaboration will provide a great opportunity for the winner to work with a well-established partner in Germany, with the potential for scaling the project beyond Germany through the international network of the Crédit Agricole Group.

The winners of the 2023 Start & Pulse Startup Challenge are:

• 1st place: allcolibri with Adrien de Malherbe (Co-Founder), who impressed the judges with their innovative solution that rewards good deeds for the planet

• 2nd place: ImpactNexus with Jannic Horne (CEO & Co-Founder), whose software for sustainability analysis and reporting caught the attention of the judges

• 3rd place: guud with Alina Friedrichs (CEO & Co-Founder), whose benefit card for employees showed great promise, and SUSTAYN with Janik Seitzer (Founder), who left a lasting impression with their pitch regarding an employee app that enables companies to implement sustainable projects – both startups receive the full cash prize
